Overall, the XF 56mm F1.2 R lens ( B&H Photo / Amazon) is absolutely superb. You’re getting a pro level lens but what’s great is you can shoot with something of this caliber on a small mirrorless camera like the X-E2 or even the X-M1. Build quality. The build of the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 is standard fare for Sigma’s Contemporary line of lenses. The lens feels nice to use. It’s got a solid build without being ungainly.
